The first step is to take a photo of the front and back of the document, in case of double sided documents. eKYC Photo checks the validity and integrity by analysing several parameters of each document, for example:
- Side correspondence for double sided documents
- MRZ integrity and correspondence between MRZ and non MRZ data
- Bar codes, if any
- The document has not expired.
- Overlapped photo detection (for some identity cards documents)
- If the photos are colour or black and white
Compares the selfie Biometric analysis
Thanks to facial recognition technology, the system recognizes and compares the photo of the document with the user’s selfie, and gives a correspondence ratio of the two images.
This lets you know if the person in the other end of the transaction is who they claim they are.
The result Report with the results
We issue a report, providing the data extracted from the document, the images taken, the validation results in a PDF document and the percentage of the consistency between both sides (the documentary evidence is issued only for onboarding processes).
